XDL #1 Lake Havasu : April 4, 2009

Round #1 of the 2009 XDL Championships started off in the little lake side town of Havasu Arizona. Poor wind conditions combined with an un-spring-like cold in the air took away was otherwise a fantastic weekend. A freak windstorm during Guru's qualifying run not only took away his chances of placing in the finals but also destroyed the team 10' x 20' EZ up with minor damage to the new rig wrap as well! Kane's run while characteristicly entertaining did contain a few bobbles which landed a decent but not strong 8th place finish. with 4 more stops in the championship not the best start to the contest series but definately fixable throughout the year.

Chapparal Bike Night : March 25, 2009

Our friends at Chapparal motorsports in San Bernadino Ca started their spring season with a new series of bike night events and had team Kaneone out to kick it off proper with a stunt exhibition. a fantastic turnout into the thousands as well as great weather, and a great riding surface made for one of the best stunt shows in the history of the team, really positive responses from the crowd and riders leaves us anxious and excited to return later this year and do it again! what a great night to ride.

Kawasaki Ninja Underground Shoot : March 24, 2009

Ninja Underground, a new exploration of kawasaki into the roots of the ninja sportbikes and an in depth glance at the riders who make the bikes come alive, a sweet photoshoot in an abandoned warehouse in downtown LA, mixed with the awesome photography skills of Boyd Photo, and a few hot models definately turned into a shoot that the photos speak for themselves. be on the lookout for the new book hitting dealer shelves soon.

Monster DUB Show LA : March 22, 2009

Monster Energy supported DUB show LA kicked off great with added stunt performances from Team Kaneone riders Kane "insane" Friesen, Guru Ardas, as well as complimentary performances from Team No Limits' Jason Britton and Tony Carbahal. Loud music, lights, hot women and bikes. a great event that we are looking to continue the series throughout the year.

AMA Fontana : March 21, 2009

5 years consecutive for Kane Friesen to be present at the AMA Fontana races, however this year being the first without a live stunt performance. The economic resession knows no bounds, Kane was on hand at the Kawasaki tent all weekend signing autographs and greeting fans.

Joe Rocket's big chance in sponsorship level in 2009 became aparent with the reciept of the new Kaneone team Rocket Rig. Traveling across country in much better style this year as we aim to collect more road miles than ever with the added comfort of a large garage to carry the bikes and product as well as a comfortable living quarters allowing team riders the seclusion they need at the contest and a nice pillow for the evening hours. Big thanks to the entire Joe Rocket team for coming together to make a riders dream come true, with a fantastic wrap design from Marnie @ Rocket this rig is sure to turn heads everywhere it goes for the next few years!

Team. after 8 years of professional stunt exhibition and competition the time has finally come to allow for the addition of a 2nd rider to the team and we are pleased to announce the arrival of Mr. Guru Ardas formerly of St Louis' Streetfighter crew. With many years of competitive stunt riding expierience the added support and friendship of Guru is not only much needed but appreciated as we aim to push the riding and presence of the team much further than ever before in the near future. Living now in Las Vegas and getting used to the new 2009 Kawasaki Zx6r ninja this long time Kawasaki rider has the skills to amaze. Keep on the lookout for many new video clips and tricks throughout the year.

Stuntwars Competition : Jan 14-18, 2009

Respected as the largest stunt riding competition ever, stuntwars consistently brings in the attendance of not only the most fans, but the most competitors. With over 100 riders fighting to qualify for the finals and only 10 making it. As well as a 2 day packed grandstands seating over 8,000 people throughout the day. Kane Friesen's 5th year consequtive stuntwars appearance. This years long 40hr drive to Florida was met with excitment and an eagerness to ride. Unvieling the new 2009 Zx6r in practice. The 3 days prior to the competition being a personal favorite. Great riding. Kane's Qualifying on saturday of 7th for individual freestyle's happiness was shot down quick with a 2 "wreck" penalty in the finals leaving what was a solid podium finish with a DNF. With great crowd, and rider support. We look forward to the next one.

2009 ZX6r Stunt Bike Build : Jan 8 - 11, 2009

The 2009 Zx6r Ninja, The lightest, fastest, more potent 600cc ninja yet. The 22lbs lighter chassis translates into increased mobility for stuntriding, the new larger big piston forks directly effects one stoppie abilities. taking reciept of the bikes a mere week before the stuntwars nationals meant chaos hour as the team worked to get the bikes setup properly and practice seat time. Luckily many of the stunt specific parts from the 07-08 model still fits on the new 09. Handbrakes, Rearsets, Sprocket, even the cage mounting points are the same! careful attention to wiring and a custom midas helped exhaust modification allowed this new beast to be stunt ready just in time to leave for Florida.
